When you’re late –  and you’re a celebrity – the world is pretty forgiving. Ariana Grande knows this – but she made her generous gesture anyways!

$10,000 to the charity of Elvis Duran’s choice!

For those of you who don’t know – Elvis is the host of Z100 – and a huge animal advocate. When he’s not on the radio making people laugh and interviewing celebrities – he’s doing magic as a member of the Rock & Rawhide board of directors. Rock & Rawhide is an animal welfare organization that collects and distributes resources such as toys, blankets, beds, etc to animal welfare organizations across the Northeast.

The insanity didn’t stop at $10,000! When Ariana dropped an F-Bomb on air – she vowed to donate an additional $10,000 and Elvis followed up with $10,000 of his own!

HOLY COW! That’s a total of $30,000 that Rock & Rawhide can use to make the lives of shelter animals better as they await their furever homes! Bravo, Ariana (and Elvis), bravo! We’ll be at your next concert ready to give you endless purrs and licks on behalf of shelter animals everywhere!

Rock & Rawhide is based in NYC and their their mission is to increase adoptions and quality of life for dogs and cats in shelters, by providing distraction therapy and noise/stress reduction through the donations of toys, tough chew items, bones, blankets and more. If a dog is chewing, it’s not barking! If a cat is playing, it’s not meowing! Less noise = less stress. The result? Happier, more adoptable animals!
